Growing shoe company LANX is expanding its premises and adding to its headcount, all while keeping its manufacturing process within Lancashire's borders.
The Whalley company was founded in 2018 by Marco Vaghetti. Its business-casual designs, quality materials and special editions - including a limited edition Burnley Football Club shoe - have found success both locally and internationally, selling through its website.
In advance of the the launch of its new autumn/winter men’s and women’s shoe range, Lanx has increased production with its partner footwear factory in Rossendale, which has created jobs.
Marco said: "Since our launch, we have invested heavily in shoe manufacturing. Our mission is to increase Lancashire production further and create new jobs.
“The support we are receiving from people in Lancashire and around the north-west has been very pleasing and given us the confidence to invest further in LANX's infrastructure, jobs and manufacturing."
LANX currently employs four full-time members of staff as well as several part time staff to assist with its growing markets and events schedule. As part of its Lancashire investment strategy, LANX will be moving to a new warehouse, office and retail premises later this year, still based in Whalley.
