Swansway Motor Group was founded in 2003 by Chairman Michael Smyth and was joined by his three sons David, John and Peter, all of whom are motor industry born and bred. Head Office operations are based in Crewe, and the ever-growing multi-franchise dealer represents several brands with over 27 locations across the North West, Midlands and North Wales. In 2017, Swansway Motor Group launched Motor Match their used car supermarket specialising in non-franchise vehicles, and most recently partnered with electric car manufacturer BYD, opening dealerships in Chester, Crewe and Stoke.
