Young’uns, which focuses on those in business aged 36 and under, has grown from a one-off feature to a regular column in the magazine to now encompass events, meetings and awards.
Last year’s inaugural Young ‘uns Awards, a joint presentation by the magazine and the University, was a sell-out event and this year it will be an even bigger affair as it switches venues.
Richard Slater, publisher of Lancashire Business view, said: “Support from UCLan allows us to increase the visibility of Young’uns and to provide a wide range of events. Our Young’uns themselves have become role models and are an important part of the county’s future.”
UCLan’s Bede Mullen said: “Young’uns promotes hard-workers and entrepreneurial spirit in the younger generation, something which closely matches work we do here.
“We are pleased that we can continue to support the great work done and are looking forward to working with Lancashire Business View to unearth some more hidden gems.”
