World Options has appointed Ammaar Ahmed as IT customer onboarding support specialist to help its franchisees support customers when synching the World Options portal into ecommerce shops.
Managed through a network of over 100 franchised offices across the UK, the World Options portal provides a complete shipping solution, allowing customers to compare, book and track national and international shipments of parcels, pallets, freight transport, documents and imports, with customer service provided by a dedicated account manager.
The portal can be integrated into a wide range of ecommerce platforms including Shopify, Woocommerce, Magento, Ebay and Etsy, and Wix.
Based from the World Options head office in Accrington, Ammaar’s role will see him supporting franchisees in ensuring online shop owners and managers across the country are able to integrate the World Options portal into whichever ecommerce platform they use.
On commencing his role, Ammaar said: “When shipping parcels worldwide, ecommerce shop managers can be confounded by the number of options available and can often stick to one courier service, even though that might not be the best option for every package they send.
“World Options offers customers the opportunity to ship domestically and internationally with the likes of DHL, FedEx, UPS, TNT and more. We help businesses choose the right option for every shipment, and our bulk-buying power means customers pay a competitive price for their shipping, whether that be for parcels, pallets, freight transport, documents or imports, either nationally or internationally.
“Crucially, we also help with paperwork to help minimise the risk of delays with customs when shipping to different territories overseas. By integrating our portal directly into ecommerce platforms, we can also reduce the time it takes for shop managers to generate a shipment, with automated shipping label and commercial invoice creation.”
