A new collaborative workspace is set to open in Blackburn, allowing entrepreneurs, home-workers and freelancers the opportunity to network and share ideas with other local businesspeople.
The bright and modern space offers six desks in a shared office environment that can be hired on an hourly, daily or monthly basis.
“Blackburn is a hub for business talent, entrepreneurs and start-up companies and the new Work Lounge will allow people who’d normally work in isolation to network, share ideas and thrive in a creative environment,” she said.
“We understand that the costs for a professional workspace can be a barrier to young businesses, but at the same time it is important to be taken seriously and to avoid the disadvantages of working alone. The Work Lounge is designed to be a first step on the ladder and an exciting and inspiring place to work.”
Prices start at £3 per hour and include the use of exclusive meeting rooms, tea and coffee making facilities and free on-site car parking.
