Winners of the Northern Livery of The Year Award

The Fagan & Whalley team were thrilled to have been announced winners of the Northern Livery of The Year Award at this year’s Transport News Northern Rewards breakfast!

The annual event, which was held at the Mercure Piccadilly Hotel in Manchester, seeks to celebrate the achievements of road haulage-related companies and individuals across the North of England. This year was the second year of the rewards event, and it’s safe to say that for everyone here at Fagan & Whalley, it was a resounding success!

The festivities got off to a great start, as we began by tucking into a delicious ‘Full English’ breakfast and enjoying a cheeky glass of bucks fizz (or two!) – but for us, it only got better and better as the awards presentation began…

Up against two other nominees, we were thrilled to find out that not only had we been selected as winners of the Northern Livery of the Year Award but that we had also received an impressive 75 per cent of the audience’s votes!

“We had an incredible morning at the Northern Rewards breakfast, and after being selected as winners of the ‘Northern Fleet of The Year” award last year, we had all our fingers crossed for another win this year. We certainly weren’t disappointed,” says Operations Strategy Director, Daniel Wood.

“To have won the ‘Northern Livery of the Year’ award is an incredible achievement for our Fagan & Whalley team and is a real testament to our rich heritage and the strong brand identity we hold nationwide. People recognise our vehicles because of the tremendous effort our colleagues have put into delivering excellence throughout all areas of our work – so a huge thank you to our team. We are exceptionally proud of the Fagan & Whalley image and our identity, and it’s an honour to have this recognised at such a prestigious event!”

The breakfast rewards presentation was followed by some inspiring talks from well-known industry professionals and was hosted by the well-known TV newsreader Sameena Ali-Khan and the comedian, Scott Bennett.

A huge thank you to Transport News for organising such a great event, and to our team at Fagan & Whalley for their continued support and commitment to excellence! Here’s to even more awards in 2023.
