Plastic goods manufacturer What More UK is to recruit 35 new employees and five apprentices to meet growing demand.
The company saw increased sales throughout the coronavirus pandemic, with particular interest in its home baking range. The firm also dedicated resources to producing PPE for the NHS.
As part of its overall growth plans, the company has recently extended its Altham site by 26,000 sq ft.
The new recruits will help service growing demand, and the apprentices will take the place of the previous class, now graduated and all working as fully-fledged engineers within the firm.
Tony Grimshaw, director at What More UK, said: "The order book is looking healthy and we're hoping to take on another 35 members of staff across the company to help us maintain our service record. We're working hard to build our business and that way we'll be prepared for the future."
