With the Euros fever sweeping the nation, you might think that we’re talking about England competing in the Euros - perhaps unlikely!
But we’re actually celebrating our own ROCCIA success so far in the 2024 Be Inspired Business Awards (BIBAs), run by the North & Western Lancashire Chamber of Commerce.
The BIBAs finalists have now been announced and we’re absolutely delighted to be one of the exceptional Lancashire businesses that have made it through to the finals, in the Family of The Year category.
To get this far we had to submit an award entry detailing our achievements in the past 12 months, and then we were shortlisted to be visited by BIBAs’ acclaimed judges who came to interview us at our Preston showroom last month.
And now we’re in it to win it …. as we prepare to dust off our tuxedos ahead of the 2024 BIBA ceremony being held in September at the Blackpool Tower Ballroom.
Commenting on the awards this year, the event organisers said “This year’s applications saw an overwhelming response, reflecting the diverse and vibrant business community in Lancashire. Each applicant undergoes a thorough evaluation to ensure they meet the high standards set by the BIBAs.”
Babs Murphy, chief executive of the North & Western Lancashire Chamber of Commerce, who organise to the awards, added: “As with very year, the BIBAs journey is never the same and the calibre of the categories always seems to go up a notch – and 2024 has been no different.”
Commenting on our success so far, ROCCIA managing director Zabir Patel says: “Being shortlisted as a finalist in this year’s BIBAs is testament to the fantastic team we have here at ROCCIA and I couldn’t be more proud.
“This year is a special landmark year for ROCCIA as we celebrate our 30th anniversary, so once again being recognised as a leading business is fantastic. Everything we do revolves around core values with family being one of them, so being appreciated for this is just amazing.
“On behalf of the ROCCIA family, thank you so much to our fantastic team and base of loyal customers. Best of luck to all the finalists!”
