Preston-based Wash Studio has created a new television campaign for MG's electric cars.
Filmed in north Wales amid Covid restrictions, the campaign injects an element of fun by casting drivers of fossil-fuelled cars as dinosaurs.
In the advert, a family heads off for a weekend of camping in their electric MG ZS EV, a journey seen through the eyes of a little girl in the back seat. As they drive past neighbours, passers-by and other drivers, she sees them all in inflatable dinosaur suits.

Andy Walmsley, creative director of Wash Studio, said: "There’s a serious message here about responding to a huge global challenge, but we’re making it a feel-good ad that pokes fun at those still clinging to the petrol pump.
"You can either be part of the new world, or you can live like a dinosaur – blissfully unaware of the meteor that’s about to pay a visit."
Daniel Gregorious, MG’s head of sales and arketing, said: "In many ways the TV ad is a bit of fun – it sends the message that it’s a new era not just for MG but for motoring in general as consumers embrace electricity and leave petrol and diesel power behind.
"This year already almost one third of our new car sales are electric and in 2021 we expect more than half our sales to be electric cars. The new era is officially here!"
