Vincents Solictors is relaunching its Garstang office with a new appointment and investment in its Bridge Street premises.

Newly arrived solicitor Jennifer Larton will focus on growing the Garstang client base, providing residential conveyancing, wills and probate services to the customers in the local community.

The firm is also refurbishing the Garstang office to provide a more modern space for staff and visitors, and ready it for future growth. Now headquartered at Winckley Square in Preston, Garstang is the historical head office of Vincents which was founded in the town in 2000.

The entrance and reception of the Victorian building will be revamped and relocated to its original position at the front. The space will be modernised throughout while retaining original features such as the spindle staircase, parquet floors and fireplaces. The four-strong team will remain at Bridge Street during the refurbishment, which is due to be undertaken this spring.

Jennifer joined Vincents from Napthens Solicitors and previously worked at Blackhurst, Swainson and Goodier. Specialising in private client law, she trained at Lancaster University and Chester College of Law before going into private practice.

Jennifer said: “I’m delighted to have joined Vincents Solicitors and to be working in Garstang at such an exciting time. The firm is well known in the town and many people have said how pleased they are that we’ve stayed here and are developing the business. It’s a lovely town to work in and I’m already getting to know the community and look forward to really getting involved with local events with the team here.”

In addition to Jennifer’s specialist expertise in private client work, the Garstang office provides a base for any of the firm’s solicitors across its different departments. Customers looking for commercial, property, employment, family law, or personal injury advice can also access these services at Garstang. Phillip Gilmore, Vincents Solicitors managing partner, said: “Vincents has long been proud of its Garstang connection and is keen to maintain regional roots and provide a personal service to customers in towns across Lancashire. The firm is growing and our client base is increasing enormously with corporate and commercial work across the board. But we are also deeply committed to our existing private clients and want to ensure they continue to get a professional friendly service from our expert team. That’s why we’re pleased to be investing in the Garstang office and to welcome Jennifer to the firm.”
