A major phase of Blackpool’s Queens Park housing regeneration was completed today when a controlled explosion brought down the estate’s final three tower blocks in a matter of seconds.
99 new homes will now be built as part of the on-going transformation of the area with high-quality affordable rented apartments and houses managed by Blackpool Coastal Housing.
“I’m delighted that they are able to see for themselves how the redevelopment is transforming the area, it is lovely to see so many happy families in their new homes.”
