Burnley-based Ultimate Visual Solutions (UVS) has provided control elements for the LED video wall at Moneysupermarket's new product design and innovation centre in Manchester.
UVS has used its own Lucidity video wall controller system to create and manage the custom-built LED video wall which covers and links both floors of the company's base at No.1 Spinningfields.
The LED video wall has an unusual resolution of 800x2400 pixels and is the hub of the company’s expanding product engineering team, which designs purpose-driven digital experiences for Moneysupermarket Group customers.
The software provided by UVS allows the client to easily configure the bespoke display layouts required for their different display scenarios and these are quickly launched via an integrated touch screen controller.
Data source inputs include web content, PC inputs and video conferencing. This allows the video wall to be used by Moneysupermarket Group staff for meetings, collaboration, presentations and for it to be specifically tailored for VIP visits.
Steve Murphy, UVS managing director, said: “The UVS Lucidity WBC70 is capable of managing this unusual resolution and it allows the display of the multiple data source types simultaneously. All sources are displayed, using the Lucidity control platform, in their native aspect ratio; meaning there are no stretched images.
“This also involved close liaison with the Moneysupermarket Group web page development team to ensure the web content was also correctly displayed."
UVS, formerly eyevis UK, is based at Business First Burnley Business Centre and provides video wall displays and audio-visual solutions to a range of clients across the UK.
