Businesswise Solutions has installed a new video wall at its Nelson headquarters which enables analysts to monitor customer use and react quickly to potential problems.
The video wall displays multiple data feeds relating to its commercial clients’ energy use and allows experts to keep track of alerts created when energy consumption is unusually high or low, which could be an early indicator of a potential fault on site.
The video wall features Philips 49-inch 24/7 industrial displays in a 2x2 layout with only 3.5mm combined bezel to bezel measurement. It is capable of simultaneuously displaying multiple web pages, data from remote workstations, data from wirelessly connected workstations/laptops, RSS feeds, dynamic message boxes and live TV feeds.
Despite the complexity of the information on display, the operation is designed to be simple, with templates available to create multiple pre-set layouts which could be instantly recalled suiting specific visitors or incident scenarios.
Andrew Bardsley, head of energy management at Businesswise Solutions, said: "Our clients expect us to be on top of their energy consumption, if something has gone wrong, or is about to, we have the ability to alert them to it so they can find and fix the problem before it causes disruption.
"The video wall solution is key component of us being able to identify, visualise and optimise the way our clients see energy within their business."
