The Two Zero Scaleup Leaders Network has been extended for a year after supporting a range of Lancashire businesses.
The programme was launched in May 2022 by Lancashire County Council and has so far seen 43 businesses take part.
It is delivered by Lancashire-based high growth business consultancy Cube Thinking and aims to help Lancashire scaleup business owners and managers develop their business growth knowledge through coaching and peer group learning with other high-growth business leaders.
The programme was expanded in December 2022 due to demand and has now been continued for a further full year until May 2024.
The programme was originally launched following Two Zero’s Scaleup Resurgence programme in 2020. This included several businesses which are now on the Scaleup Leaders Network and have received targeted scaleup support through Two Zero for around three years.
These included Matrix247, Coolkit and Creativeworld. Well-known Lancashire businesses that have also joined the programme are Moorehouse’s Brewery, Bigtank Productions and Hive Land and Planning.
New businesses that have signed up to the latest Scaleup Leaders Network include V1CE, Scope Fire and Security and Aldrock.
Amin Vepari, programme manager, Two Zero, said: “The Scaleup Leaders Network has grown consistently since we launched and through our work with Cube, we’ve built a strong community of scaleup businesses that are receiving expert support to grow, while also helping each other.
“The businesses on this year’s programme employ more than 500 people and I’m excited to see how these companies continue to expand at pace over the next year, creating more local jobs and growing the Lancashire economy.”
Two Zero is a business support service for scaleup business leaders in Lancashire. Led by Lancashire County Council, its mission is to help Lancashire’s scaleup leaders learn, grow their business 20 per cent and create jobs.
