Lancaster-based Two Stories has been appointed as the brand and design partner for League One side Morecambe FC.
The football club, nicknamed The Shrimps, approached the consultancy to develop its brand strategy and implement the brand across design and communications going forward.
The partnership will see Two Stories evolve Morecambe FC’s brand to help it achieve its three-year plan and vision of being a competitive and sustainable League One club.
Morecambe FC’s club and ground branding, match-day campaigns, and hospitality and commercial sponsorship activities, as well as its non-match day events, will all be refreshed as part of project.
Rob Ellis, co-founder and managing director at Two Stories, said: "Morecambe Football Club is a 102-year-old brand with an extremely rich history and a passionate fan base. Two Stories has been briefed to look at the brand beyond the badge, creating a future-facing narrative for The Shrimps, whilst acknowledging its long heritage, to strengthen its position as a League One club.”
