Lancashire chartered accountancy, business advisory and wealth management group PM+M has seen its consolidated turnover rise by 9.2 per cent to £6.51m in its centenary year.
PM+M was founded in 1919 and now has offices in Blackburn, Burnley and Bury. Throughout its history it has remained fully independent and now has a team of 117 people across the business.
The group’s accountancy practice saw “particularly strong growth” with a rise of 13.4 per cent in its organic turnover.
Over the past 12 months, the firm has also purchased, refurbished and renamed its Blackburn headquarters ‘New Century House’.
It has been included in the UK’s top 100 firms list by Accountancy Age magazine and it has launched a new website “signifying its commitment to strengthening the PM+M brand”.
Other milestones included receiving “outstanding results” from Investors in People following its gold status annual review, obtaining a probate licence and launching a lasting power of attorney service.
