2022 has been an exciting period of growth for True Bearing. We have made ten new appointments in the second half of 2022. These include both Independent Financial Planners and support staff.
Four new advisers have joined us: James Curry, Giselle Clayton, Jen Lancaster and Andrew Rowland. The addition of these advisers takes our total advising team to 25. Giselle, Jen, and Andrew will advise our clients in Lancashire while James will be based in Cumbria. All four advisers have attained the highest industry qualifications and bring a wealth of knowledge to True Bearing.
Janet Walker and Lisa Ogden both joined the team as Legal Intermediaries. Janet has extensive experience in the legal field, while Lisa recently retired from the police after 30 years. Both will work with our valued clients to ensure they have Wills and Estate Planning services that meet their needs.
In our operations team, Alison Strickland and Rebecca Fairhurst joined the adviser support team, Alison as an assistant for our Legal Intermediaries and Rebecca as Adviser Assistant. Alison is a career changer, coming to the business after a lengthy career in teaching, whilst Rebecca has many years of experience working for local advisory firms. Additionally, in July, Dan Clarke joined us for a period of 12 months as part of his University placement.
Finally, Thomas Coull joined us as a Paraplanner. He is an experienced paraplanner and became the eighth member of our in-house paraplanning team.
We are delighted to welcome all these new additions to True Bearing, they will bring added knowledge and expertise to the business. With this additional resource, we can continue to focus on our plans for growth in the North West region, alongside our rebrand to Amber River which is expected to begin in the New Year.
