The Accrington-based Triscan Group has acquired Liquid Management Solutions Ltd of Wolverhampton.
Triscan is the UK’s largest manufacturer and supplier of fuel management systems.
LMS provides an extensive range of fuel monitoring and fuel management systems including the supply, installation and management of wireless driven automatic vehicle recognition (AVR) fuel management technology.
The acquisition also brings specialist expertise in the mining and aggregates industries, which LMS has supplied for more than 15 years.
Andrea Whittaker, managing director of the group, said: “Our goal at The Triscan Group is to deliver the best fuelling solutions for our clients through our network of fuel management experts.
"LMS brings expertise that will add further value to the group."
The Triscan Group was originally formed in 2013 when Triscan Systems merged with Datatrack merged. The company expanded further in 2018 with the acquisition of Timeplan Fuel Solutions Ltd.
