Taylor Weaver, the Blackburn-based commercial property chartered surveyor, has recently concluded a trio of simultaneous linked industrial deals along the M65 corridor.
Acting on behalf of the landlords they negotiated the surrender of Micromatic’s lease on a high bay modern warehouse building at Walker Park extending to 56,000 sq.ft, and the new letting to Pentland Wholesale who have relocated from Whitebirk Industrial Estate.Pentland Wholesale was incorporated in November 1992 and started trading in January 1993 and are one of the market’s leading providers of great value, commercial refrigeration and catering equipment to the trade. Micromatic is a Danish owned major supplier of draught beer and soft drink equipment in over 120 countries throughout the world.
At the same time Taylor Weaver negotiated the relocation of Micromatic to a modern warehouse building of 14,800 sq ft on Altham Business Park in Hyndburn. This deal also involved negotiating surrender the existing lease with Cleverboxes.Finally, again as a simultaneous transaction, Taylor Weaver let a detached modern warehouse building of 8500 sq ft on Sandringham Court, Network 65, Burnley to Cleverboxes.
Cleverboxes is an online retailer specialising in the IT and consumer electronics sector and has expanded its product catalogue far beyond its roots to include homewear and textiles.Neil Weaver said: "We are delighted to have been able to assist all the companies in relocating their businesses.
