Training 2000 has promoted Chris Stott to chief executive officer following the retirement of Steve Whitehead.
Chris, who was previously head of business development, takes on the role with immediate effect.
He said: “I am excited and delighted to take on this role, to lead the business in this new era of customer led apprenticeship funding and further developing the relationship with the University of Central Lancashire to the benefit of our customers, learners and the community within which we operate.
"Training 2000 has an enviable 50 year heritage which I intend to build on and secure the long term future of this excellent organization. ”
Mike Tynan, chairman of Training 2000, said: “We have a strong business with strong ethical integrity and we promote the fundamental values of respect, team working, collaboration, and innovation.
"Chris has been with the company since December 2018 and has already provided a much-needed focus on our relationships with customers and I am delighted by his appointment.”
