Leading tissue manufacturer Euro Paper is set to let the former 5.5 acre Graham & Brown manufacturing plant in Blackburn.
Lancashire Business View reported last week how the Adhan Group had bought the former India Mill site.
The Adhan Group have now revealed that the entire site has agreed to be let to the leading tissue manufacturing company just four weeks after purchase.
The incoming tenant is set to bring approximately 150 new jobs to the area.
The quick turnaround from acquisition to full occupancy marks a remarkable achievement for The Adhan Group, positioning it as a dynamic force in the property and development sector.
Abid Khan, director of Euro Paper, said: "We’re absolutely thrilled to be relocating our operations to this fantastic new site. It offers us the perfect platform for growth and expansion.”
A spokesperson from The Adhan Group said: "This is not just a win for us — this is a win for Blackburn, and a proud moment for us to be part of one of the largest lettings in the north at the beginning of this year.
"Bringing industry and employment back to this landmark site is something we’re incredibly proud of.
"It reflects our commitment to revitalising key locations and supporting economic growth.”
The transaction and letting represent one of the group’s most notable accomplishments in Q2, underlining The Adhan Group’s strategic foresight and its continued investment in the future of the region.
Interior design and décor group Graham & Brown announced the sale of India Mill, its traditional wallpaper manufacturing plant, in late 2023, as it evolved into a design-led, brand-led, digital business.
The company has since opened its new digital ‘factory of the future’ at Shuttleworth Mead, Padiham, where it is producing high-quality, design-led, environmentally friendly wallpapers, murals, and wall art.
Napthens solicitors advised Graham & Brown on the sale of the property.
Partner David Hill added: “India Mill is an excellent addition to the Adhan Group’s property portfolio. The site is impressive and will provide a range of companies with the perfect location from which to operate and grow their businesses.”
Commercial property consultants Trevor Dawson were agents for the site.
