TiE UK to host EU debate

Tie UK, the entrepreneur network, is to host a debate on whether the UK should leave the European Union or not.

The debate will be held between two leading Lancashire businessmen from whom you will hear arguments for and against, and guests will also have the opportunity to put their own comments and questions to the two debaters.

Taking part in the debate is Alan Halsall, former chairman of Silver Cross and joint chairman of Business for Britain, who is on the main board of Vote Leave, who advocate leaving the EU, and Tony Attard OBE, CEO of Panaz, a leading textile manufacturer who exports to 50 countries with 30 per cent of business coming from overseas markets. He is an export champion for UKTI and supports staying in.

The event takes place on Monday January 18 6pm-8pm at Blackburn Cathedral.
