Philip Dyer, founder and managing director of business growth consultancy NXO has been appointed as TiE’s first chairman for Lancashire.
TiE Lancashire is part of a global entrepreneur network which offers free mentoring, networking and education to early stage businesses. It’s North West presence was started in Manchester ten years ago when three Indian entrepreneurs who worked in Silicon Valley decided to set up a group to help young businesses.Philip said: "I have been a charter member of TiE for the past seven years and have thoroughly enjoyed working with people who have a passion to get their business off the ground. A little help from TiE at this early stage can be invaluable in getting the business to the next stage. I am delighted to be given the opportunity of working with Lancashire members." Walli Ullah, president of TiE UK North, based in Manchester which TiE Lancashire comes under, said: "I am delighted that Philip has accepted the role as he has been working with TiE in a mentoring capacity for several years. His skills will be invaluable in delivering the services that TiE offers in the Lancashire area."
