The third annual Blackburn Beer Festival has raised more than £20,000 in aid of Blackburn Youth Zone.
May Bank Holiday weekend saw crowds of beer lovers gather at the three day festival held at Blackburn Rugby Club in order to sample the wide range of ales, lagers and ciders available.
Organisers and sponsors of the festival are delighted with the success they have achieved in the third year.
“Proceeds from the festival will go towards raising hopes, aspirations and opportunities for the town’s young people, by keeping Blackburn Youth Zone open 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Blackburn Youth Zone provides the town’s young people with somewhere to go, something to do and someone to talk to – for just 50p per visit!
