Theodore House have appointed Blackburn and Bury-based PM+M, the chartered accountancy, business advisory and financial planning group.
As part of the Theodore House business reboot after the prolonged pandemic period, it has been decided that to best serve the growing accountancy needs for the business, a locally based firm of chartered accountants would be more suited than their previous advisers who are London based.
As a result, PM+M has been appointed for both Theodore House and The Christian Heritage Centre charity. As part of the new appointment process, it was important for Theodore House that their new advisers had the understanding, capacity and experience to deal with general accounting services as well as the specific business needs, taking into account the nuances that are involved with a charity accounting process, as Theodore House is a subsidiary of The Christian Heritage Centre charity.
Stefan Kaminski, director at The Christian Heritage Centre charity and its subsidiary Theodore House said, “Our previous chartered accountants served us well, but being based in London had some real day-to-day logistical drawbacks. We are delighted that PM+M were keen to have us as clients. Their vast accounting experience, quality professionalism, knowledge of charities, and their ability to offer us a complete gambit of accounting services made the choice easy. Once we actually met with some of the team, it was clear that they completely understood our business ethos and that we were on the same page, on top of that they are local to us.”
Ceri Dixon, director at PM+M said, “We are delighted that Thedore House and The Christian Heritage Centre charity have decided to appoint us. We believe that with our breadth of knowledge and experience, coupled with our multi-faceted workforce, we can offer Thedore House and The Christian Heritage Centre charity the type of accounting support and advice services that they require, as well as being easily accessible to assist, when required, in person. We look forward to building a successful working relationship with the charity.”
Theodore House is operated commercially by a subsidiary of The CHC charity as an idyllic location for both peaceful B&B accommodation, as well as with flexible, ultramodern facilities for conferences, events, launches, retreats, seminars and business meetings. With its unique offering Theodore House is able to ensure a memorable experience for any guest, whether it be for a personal stay, a retreat or for a business event.
