Themis, the Apprenticeship and business training division of Burnley College has been accredited with the prestigious Apprenticeships 4 England ‘2014 Training Provider of The Year Award’.
The inaugural National awards ceremony took place in London during National Apprenticeship Week, following the Apprenticeships 4 England Voice of Apprenticeships Conference.The Apprenticeships 4 England Awards recognise the significant contribution made by Training providers and Colleges in supporting and delivering apprenticeships in England.
A significant number of entries were received for the awards, in which applicants were asked to demonstrate several core competencies in their entries including delivery of apprenticeships, focus on the learner, partnerships with employers and the contribution made to the wider communityThe judges were particularly impressed with Themis due to its high caliber of training programmes and growth within key sectors including engineering.
