The Kay Group, the Blackburn-based operator of forecourts and service stations, has increased annual turnover by 13.9%, up to £126m.
The company also reported a gross profit of £9.49m for the year ending 31 October 2019, which represents a 27.7% year-on-year increase.
The results include the launch of three new sites in Barnsley, Tyneside and Wrexham. A further site in Sheffield will open this summer as part of the group's ongoing expansion plans.
Ken Kay, CEO of the Kay Group, said: "We are delighted with this year’s financial results and we are on track for another successful year, with a number of new sites in the pipeline which will not only create jobs and meet growing demand, but offer customers a superior forecourt experience."
The Kay Group’s annual report also highlighted strong staff retention rates among its more than 240 employees.
Ken added: “Our excellent staff retention level is down to quality working conditions and facilities, bespoke uniforms the staff are proud to wear and financial terms and conditions above the industry norm, resulting in growing numbers who benefit each year from long service bonuses.”
Established in 1972, The Kay Group serves 200,000 customers a week across 19 locations, with on-site partners including Greggs, Subway and Costa Coffee.
