The Fun Experts are backing Red Rose Awards 2021!

We are delighted to announce that The Fun Experts are sponsoring the fun corporate entertainment at the Red Rose Awards 2021, the eleventh annual celebration of the Lancashire business community.

With 20 categories open for entries, there’s something for all businesses in Lancashire to aim for. The Red Rose Awards celebrates business through sector specific categories, plus categories open to all such as employer of the year, customer service award and the innovation award.

The Fun Experts (formerly Sunshine Events) provide fun equipment to events and offices across the UK. Sunny Sandwell, director of fun, shared why they have are getting involved again this year.

RRA: How did the business first get involved with the Red Rose Awards?

SS: In 2013, we provided a branded photo booth for a sponsor of the Awards which led to us becoming a sponsor ourselves in 2014 and we have continued to provide the entertainment each year since.

It took until 2017 for us to actually enter the awards ourselves after much encouragement from Richard Slater and other businesses about taking the opportunity to celebrate our business journey and success.

RRA: What changes have you seen in the Red Rose Awards over the years that you have been involved?

SS: We have seen the event grow in reputation over the nine years we have been involved but more importantly the relationships develop and build year on year. However, the message of celebrating and supporting the Lancashire business community has remained consistent.

RRA: What is the most rewarding part of being a sponsor?

SS: As a sponsor of the entertainment it not only gives us great pleasure to witness guests having so much fun on our equipment but also it enables us to network with the wider business community and promote that we are supporting such a prestigious event in the business calendar.

RRA: How do you feel that the Red Rose Awards benefit Lancashire?

SS: There are so many incredible businesses of all sizes in Lancashire and the Awards bring together many amazing individuals who have many things in common; promoting our County, supporting each other and taking the time to celebrate our success. This is all done under the guise of a really good party...sorry awards evening!

RRA: How do you feel that your involvement with the Red Rose Awards benefits your business?

SS: Our main benefit has been the strong relationships and contacts made, many we would call friends, where there is a loyalty between the businesses and the people behind them.

Entries for the awards have now closed. The finalists were announced on Friday 10 September and are available to view here. All finalists will be given the opportunity to put their best case to the judges on September 22 and 23.
