Telecom services provider Claritel has acquired an IT firm in a strategic move aimed at accelerating its growth strategy.
The Blackburn headquartered business has bought J2 Technology for an undisclosed sum.
In a statement announcing the deal, Claritel said the acquisition of the Hapton based company marked a “new chapter” in its journey – propelling the group’s growth by 30 per cent.
Adam Robinson, former director of J2 Technology, has now become head of IT at Claritel.
Jay Motorwala, founder of Claritel, said: “This acquisition is a big step. It allows us to provide our customers with a complete suite of IT services under the banner Claritel.
“Our acquisition of J2 Technology, specifically Adam Robinson, who I have known since 2019, strengthens our team and enhances our capabilities.
“Adam brings almost four decades of industry experience to the team, and I am excited to have him join us."
Founded in May 2011, Claritel has been at the forefront of the telecoms industry for 13 years.
Adam Robinson said: “Joining Claritel is a fantastic opportunity for both our team and our clients. Together, we can offer a comprehensive range of services, and I’m excited to see where we can take the company next.”
