When the team at Taylors' Blackburn and Manchester offices started its ‘Steptember Challenge' in aid of Scope, little did the staff realise that by the end of the month, they'd have taken more than 6,000,000 steps between them and conquered the virtual ‘summits’ of seven of the world’s highest mountains!
'Steptember Challenge' was organised by Scope as a fun way to encourage office workers, who on average take only 2,500 steps each day, to become more active and raise much- needed funds for disabled people and their families in the process.Through its efforts, the team has raised more than £1,300 through sponsorship from friends, family and clients; a ‘Dress Down Friday’ and cake sales. And the Challenge doesn't stop there for some - Tom Saville from Taylors' Employment team has committed to cycle 100 miles in a day on 25 October to add to the firm's fundraising for Scope.
