Taylor Patterson supports East Lancashire Hospice

Taylor Patterson has announced that, following a vote, its charity for 2014 is East Lancashire Hospice.

Jennifer Quinn, community fundraiser at East Lancashire Hospice, said: “Thank you for deciding to nominate the hospice as your company’s Charity of the Year. The hospice relies on support from the local community so we are always really grateful when we receive this support.”

For 30 years East Lancashire Hospice has continuously provided a special way of caring to people suffering from life limiting illnesses throughout Blackburn, Darwen, Accrington and Clitheroe.

The hospice provides specialist care, supportive care and end of life care for people and their families both at the hospice and at home. At the hospice everyone is special, whether patients come to them or they go to them. Keith Pressler, director at Taylor Patterson, said “Following another successful year, we are pleased to continue our fund raising activities in aid of East Lancashire Hospice. We are looking forward to working with the hospice and organising plenty of activities to raise awareness for a great cause.
