A talented graduate of Salford University’s Product Design degree has been appointed as Chantelle Lighting’s new CAD designer/product developer.
Liz Norbury, who lives in Nelson, was recommended to Chantelle Lighting by an interior designer they have worked in partnership with on a number of projects.Liz, who previously worked for the Decorating Centre in Manchester, said: “I am really excited about working with the team at Chantelle to design and develop unique lighting solutions for our varied range of customers. I will be using my CAD SolidWorks experience to streamline the design and production processes for our products.
“I have already spent some time working with one of Chantelle Lighting’s sheet metal suppliers to learn more about their materials and how they can be used in the light design process. I am really looking forward to using first-hand experiences like this to push the boundaries of design for our customers.” Anthony Holly, Chantelle Lighting managing director, added: “I was impressed by Liz’s enthusiasm and ideas as soon as I met her. She will be a real asset to our team and I am looking forward to starting to put her designs into production.”
