Themis, the business training and apprenticeship division of Burnley College, has added three new recruits to its team.
Angela Jones joins as head of Themis, Kate Mayers as publicity and communications manager and Vicki Maltby as publicity and communications Assistant.Angela offers more than 18 years’ experience within training, development and education. Before joining the Themis team she resided as apprenticeship curriculum manager for Burnley College’s business, IT and engineering division for four years.
Kate joins Themis from market-leading business process services provider, Equiniti Group. Based in Belfast, Kate worked within the group’s IT Solutions division, driving marketing campaigns within the UK public sector and financial services markets. Prior to that, Kate acted as marketing and project manager for Enterprise Lancashire where she delivered marketing strategy and enterprise projects across Pennine Lancashire.Vicki Maltby has been appointed at publicity and communications assistant. Vicki brings six years of experience of working within marketing and business development, having previously acted as marketing executive for Avon Cosmetics before joining Badminton England as business development executive, where she resided for three years. Hugh Bramwell, chief executive of Themis, said: "The recent appointments to the Themis team will allow us to further enhance our relationships with the local business community and respond to their needs by providing greater flexibility in our services and deliver programmes to help them reach their business objectives.”
