Skelmersdale-based Stuart Energy has recorded double-digit revenue and profit growth over the first half of the year.
The generator specialist increased sales by 31 per cent in the first half of 2023 when compared to the same period in 2022. Net profit has also increased by over a quarter, reaching 26 per cent over the same period.
The most significant growth indicator came from generator sales, with a 117 per cent increase compared to 2022. This focus on growth is also reflected across its operations, having grown its team to 25 people.
The business was established in 2016 by Fred Stuart and is run with help from his two sons Lee and Mark. The firm provides its extensive customer book with a full suite of generators, ranging from 10Kva to 1500Kva.
As well as providing generators for hire, the firm also has the availability to stock more than 350 products and £4m worth of new generators.
Fred Stuart, chairman at Stuart Energy, said: “It’s great to see what we have been able to achieve at Stuart Energy, from our beginnings as a family-run business in Lancashire, to now becoming a powerhouse in the generator sector across the UK. Particularly as the UK moves towards net zero targets, I’m excited to continue working on our sustainable energy innovations to maintain our market leading offering."
Accountancy firm JS has continued to work with Stuart since the 1980s.
