Two StoneHouse apprentices have attended a boot camp as part of a training scheme with software giant Microsoft, and are set to have an audience with Bill Gates.
Alex Jones, 17, and Jacob Collard, 18, will continue on the year-long course with two distance learning classes per week and seminar sessions with leading figures at the multinational firm, including the founder and chairman Bill Gates.StoneHouse Logic continually invest in the professional development of its team to ensure the highest service level possible is attained.
Alex said: “The course will give us all the knowledge and expertise we need to answer queries from customers, and take us bang up-to-date with the latest technology.“I’m very excited to see what the year brings and to develop my role at StoneHouse Logic.”
Alex spent his summer holidays in Uganda, digging wells to bring fresh water to local communities. Jacob has wanted to get into the world of IT for some years and was delighted to be offered the chance to work at StoneHouse Logic. He said: “It’s fantastic to not only have a job doing something that is of interest to me but also to be pushing myself by completing the professional course with Microsoft.”Enjoyed this?
