Commercial property agents Trevor Dawson recently acted on behalf of world renowned educational equipment supplier, Promethean in the disposal of its 55,000 sq ft warehouse facility.
Occupying a three acre site on the Whitebirk Industrial Estate in Blackburn, it had become surplus to requirements following a logistical reorganisation. The site on Philips Road has been acquired by Premier Steel Stockholding in order to facilitate their substantial expansion programme.
Managing director Mike Sagar said: “Our business has gone from strength to strength in recent years and in order to continue to provide an excellent service to our customer base we needed to relocate to larger premises. We have a strong allegiance with the North West of England and our new premises in Blackburn will allow our company to progress even further.” Jason Rawson of Trevor Dawson added: “Our clients Promethean continue to operate from their other Blackburn site. This site offered a tremendous opportunity at a time when there is a general shortage of good quality warehousing within East Lancashire.”
