Stanley House, Mellor has appointed a new director of its luxury spa as part of its strategic plans to put it on the national map.
Jo Bullock, 47, joins Stanley House from Lion Quays in Shropshire and brings with her over 20 years of experience managing award-winning spas across the globe.Jo’s career highlights to date include her position managing the Soneva Fushi, which is situated on a private island in the Maldives and also the renowned spa at Sandy Lane resort in Barbados.
The new director started her career as a therapist before lecturing in beauty and holistic therapies for ten years at West Suffolk College and settling in spa management.Originally from Lincolnshire, Jo now lives in Clitheroe and has always been aware of the developments at Stanley House.
She commented: “I remember being told of the expansion at Stanley House and I was amazed by its commitment to quality and scenic position of the new spa.“It has secured some of the best spa brands in the UK, offering exceptional treatments and also fantastic staff training and development. I hope to ensure it is recognised for excellence in customer service and its stunning rural backdrop.”
