Award-winning hotel and spa, Stanley House, has been recognised for excellence after achieving an overall score of 91 per cent and a four star rating in its latest VisitEngland review.
VisitEngland’s Quality Assessment scheme, which establishes quality in tourism, has also presented the Mellor hotel’s Mr Fred’s bar and lounge with a gold award for its breakfast offering.
The hotel’s restaurant team, led by restaurant manager Stuart Aspin, was commended for its dining experience, and the hotel’s use of local produce, directed by executive head chef Steve Williams, also received high praise.
“The Quality Assessment process is exhaustive and credit must go to the whole Stanley House team who work hard to make customer service the number one priority.
