Preston-based recruitment agency Spencer Clarke Group has been shortlisted for three prestigious Be Inspired Business Awards in the Small Business of the Year, Employer of the Year and Scale Up categories.
The BIBAs is made up of 20 awards with over 80 judges deciding who will triumph. The evening's winners are automatically enrolled into the BIBAs Winners Academy which offers leadership masterclasses from the likes of mountaineer Sir Chris Bonington and Jo Fairley, the founder of the chocolate brand Green and Blacks.
During the awards, 1,000 guests from the county’s business community will enjoy a four course meal and entertainment from an undisclosed entertainer - previous entertainment has been provided by Jason Donovan, Russell Watson, Tony Hadley, Heather Small and Paul Young.
Operating nationwide, Spencer Clarke Group specialises in a range of key disciplines within both the public and private sectors, offering permanent, temporary, contract and fixed-term career opportunities.
In what is coming up to five years in operation, Spencer Clarke Group has gone from strength to strength and it currently employs a 29-strong team at its modern and vibrant office at Bartle Court Business Centre, Preston.
Managing director Mike Shorrock said: "We’re extremely humbled to be shortlisted in these categories, particularly as this is the first year we have entered the BIBAs.”
Shorrock continued: "Attending the BIBA’s is a great opportunity for us to dress up and celebrate all the hard work, commitment and dedication which everyone has put in to get Spencer Clarke Group to where it is today.”
A glittering awards ceremony to announce and celebrate this year's BIBAs winners will take place on 16th September at the Blackpool Tower Ballroom.
