A Rawtenstall specialist signage and graphics firm has secured its first major export deal worth £200,000.
HD Signology, based in Holme Bank, l has won two contracts to supply around 12,000 pallet display units, which will be used in garden centres and DIY stores across Europe.The point of sale pallets are being supplied to E. Marker for their GroGreen products, and Fertira for their OSMO range, and will be used to display their products.
The first batch of 1000 pallets for the GroGreen range are due to be shipped to Denmark at the end of January. While over 600 pallets for Fertira’s OSMO range will be heading to Denmark and Belgium, and then throughout Europe, in the next couple of weeks.HD Signology, which is part of the Linemark Group of companies, manufacture bespoke signage solutions, banners and branded carpets as well as providing stadium branding, vehicle wrapping and digitally printed vinyl graphics.
Tony Bennett, General Manager at HD Signology, said: “The contracts signal an important step forward for the business in terms of exports.“In the past few years we have worked on a number of high profile contracts, including work for the 2016 World Rugby U20 Championship, the London Six day competition and for the 2016 UCI World Track Cycling Championships.

Marker, which is part of the Linemark Group of companies. In April last year the Linemark Group of companies won Queen’s Award for International Trade after recording huge export growth. It was the second time the business has earned the coveted award.
