Hospitality remains one of the worst affected sectors following the Covid pandemic. When the industry finally re-opened, additional challenges were presented including compliance with guidelines, lack of supplies, staff shortages, and those remaining in the industry having to work excessive hours.
Restauranteurs, Tom and Kate know all too well what the past two years have meant to anyone working in the hospitality industry. When their dream of owning a restaurant came to fruition in January 2020, only to be thwarted two months later at the onset of Covid.
The pair have a combined 36 years in hospitality, so they understand the challenges hospitality staff are facing only too well. Keen to recognise the hard work of individuals in this sector, they made the decision to give something back.
