Lancashire's best social enterprises have been recognised at Selnet’s 10th annual Enterprise In Society awards.
The event was staged at the Crow Wood hotel in Burnley and saw Child Action North West named as Lancashire’s social enterprise of the year for the second year running. Meanwhile the head of Social Enterprise Solutions in Blackpool, Tony Carr, was honoured as Lancashire’s Social Enterprise Champion 2021.
Liz Tapner, the chief executive of the Social Enterprise Lancashire Network, Selnet, said: "I’m so proud of the social enterprise world for its work when communities needed them the most. It was right that we recognise that work and I pay tribute to all the people who were nominated. The social enterprise awards are the highlight of our year and the team works incredibly hard to ensure it’s a night to remember for everyone."
