In addition, judges praised Skiddle for continuing to develop its technology to help reduce ticketing fraud and improve the chances of genuine fans getting to see their favourite artists. The renowned awards, which were held at Lancaster London, recognise excellence amongst event organisers, production teams and suppliers within the indoor and outdoor events industries.
Richard Dyer, director at Skiddle, said: “We’re always delighted to get such huge recognition for the work we do, and it’s even more pleasing considering the EPAs focus on excellence within events. The award underlines all the solutions we offer, not only for ticketing events but the level of support we can offer promoters both big and small. “It’s been a busy few years for us as we’ve developed our consumer app, Weekends Matter, our online festival guide, Festival Finder and perhaps our most fundamental offering, the RapidScan suite, a secure box office and scanning solution for events of all sizes. To win an award like this brings it all nicely together.”Enjoyed this? Read more from Dean
