Root Fifty-Two director Kimberley Thompson, joined the Burnley Bondholders ‘Ask a Panelist’ event alongside three other Burnley business owners – Andrew Brown from Crow Wood, Sean Redfearn from Red-Fern Media, and Lisa Sourbutts from CUBE HR.
The event, which was the very first of its kind, was held during Burnley Business Week – and was chaired by Dharma Kouvurri from UCLan.
Held at the stunning Crow Wood Hotel & Spa, the event saw an audience of over thirty fellow Burnley Bondholders and was a great reminder of how much innovation and entrepreneurial spirit is packed into our town!
It was a brilliant opportunity for business owners in Burnley to get together and share ideas – and discuss a variety of topics, ranging from pandemic recovery, staff wellbeing, apprenticeships and staff loyalty.
At Root Fifty-Two, we understand that the last couple of years haven’t been the easiest for many business owners, but as we push through the other side of the pandemic – it was brilliant to reflect on how we, as a business, got through such a challenging time.
Kimberley also enjoyed discussing the fantastic addition our two apprentices, Olivia and Ellie, have made to our creative team – with both team members bringing a great deal of creative insight and innovative strategy to our Social Media clients.
Furthermore, it was a fantastic opportunity to share the news of our recent move into our bigger canal-side offices at Slater Terrace in Burnley. This move signifies a new period of expansion and growth for us here at Root Fifty-Two, so it’s something we’re keen to celebrate!
“I was thrilled to have been invited onto the panel for our first-ever Burnley Bondholders event and had a great time getting to chat with fellow business owners in Burnley. We’re really looking forward to the next event, and feel honoured to have such a vibrant business community surrounding us here in Lancashire!”
What is a Burnley Bondholder?
Burnley Bondholders is a community of over 200 members, made up of businesses within our town who are passionate about the benefits of being based in Burnley, and where our town is heading.
The scheme has been growing for over ten years and functions with the core belief that we are stronger when we work together. The idea is that a solid network of businesses within Burnley, who share ideas, supplies and resources – helps the town to flourish, which in turn attracts further investment and growth for our local residents and businesses.
