HPA Architects are delighted to confirm a promotion for Senior Architect Emma Brown, to the role of Associate.
Having anchored her Architectural journey with HPA, Emma has nurtured and developed her passion for architecture with a deeply rooted interest in heritage and conservation areas, to which she has made substantial contributions.
Emma has played a key role in many heritage and conservation projects, most notably as part of the Lancaster High Street Heritage Action Zone (HSHAZ) initiative. Emma is also registered with Blackburn DAC to complete condition surveys and work with churches in the local area.
Being involved with HPA’s conservation projects has allowed Emma to showcase her ability to preserve and protect historic structures, ensuring their legacy for future generations.
Emma is also the practice lead on accessible design, working with organisations such as Bendrigg Trust, Escape2Make, Unique Kidz & Co and the Abbeyfield Society to support charities, local authorities, faith organisations and many other community groups to unlock funding, guide them through planning and design inclusive spaces to bring their initiatives to life.
Emma has several goals for 2025 including submitting a project to the RIBA MacEwan Awards – an annual award recognising architecture for the common good – and becoming AABC accredited.
HPA are so proud of Emma’s achievements and look forward to her contribution as an Associate.
