On Saturday, June 22nd, several members of the Scope Fire and Security team travelled to the Lake District to take on the challenge of hiking Scafell Pike.
While this might not be as extreme as other challenges, it was definitely outside the comfort zone for some team members and unlike anything they had ever done before. By completing the hike, we successfully raised £555, which will be divided between the charities Mind and Action for Humanity.
The hike included not only team members but also their partners, friends, and dogs. In typical Lake District fashion, we experienced several seasons of weather throughout the day. Thankfully, everyone managed to stay dry, and most importantly, everyone had a fantastic day out.
