Scope Fire & Security proudly sponsored Lancashire Women’s Big Night In last week.
The virtual event, which took place on the 27th of November drew over 50 people to the Zoom room for a night of music, quizzes, cocktail making, auctions and of course, fundraising for an amazing local charity.
Adele Helm, business development officer at Lancashire Women said, “For our first online virtual event, it has been so well supported and on first count, we have raised just short of £1,700 which I’m sure you’ll agree is FANTASTIC!
It was a fabulous event and the feedback has been exceptional. Everyone had a great time.”
Scope would like to say a huge thank you to the event organisers, attendees and other sponsors.
We would also like to thank BBC Radio Lancashire’s Hayley Kay who hosted the event, Kathy Anderson whose music really added to the atmosphere and Whip & Kitten bar owner Bryony for guiding us through the delicious Lancashire gin cocktail-making!
It was a great night and we can’t wait to support Lancashire Women again in the future.
What’s next for Lancashire Women?
Lancashire Women work tirelessly to support over 8,600 women and families across Lancashire each year. The Big Night In was a huge success, but for this charity, the work doesn’t stop there.
On Giving Tuesday, Lancashire Women launched a new campaign hoping to double the impact in time for Christmas. They are asking for donations to The Big Give – a match-funded campaign where all donations are doubled. One donation, twice the impact!
