Training 2000, the largest group training association (GTA) in England, has delivered its first Level 2 Scaffolding Apprenticeship to a group of six learners.
Each apprentice has completed 18 months of block release training which involves practical and technical learning of the scaffolding industry, whilst the Apprenticeship also covers safe erection and dismantling of basic structures, the correct use of harnesses, fall prevention methods and safe working practices.
Phil Harding, scaffolding instructor and assessor, added: “All six apprentices have made excellent progress throughout their qualification and have shown that they have the ability to progress to scaffolder status.
