Preston-based wellbeing and health insurance group Santé is working towards achieving £10m turnover by 2025.
The group was founded in 2014 and includes employee health insurance and wellbeing company Nugent Santé and life insurance business Santé Life.
Its insurance premium book rose by 28 per cent in 2020, up to £14.8m. Turnover increased from £1.15m to £1.5m.
The group currently employs 27 people at its Lancashire headquarters but its planning to treble that number over the next five years as it increases its national footprint through organic growth and acquisitions.
Paul Nugent, the group's chief executive said: "Over the past 24 months, we’ve seen a step-change in the attitudes of businesses in terms of how vital employee wellbeing is to the success of a business. Previously it’s been a means to aid employee retention, but now every business we’re dealing with is placing wellness as a central function in helping achieve organisational goals."
