For instance for a lone female traveller they would avoid allocating a room on the ground floor or at the very end of an upper floor corridor.
- Plan your accommodation in advance
- Tell colleagues or share your itinerary with family
- Arrange a call on arrival at your hotel to confirm you’ve arrived
- Don’t take more valuables with you than you need
For personal safety there are small personal alarms that emit an ear piercing alarm when a button is pressed.
